what deserves your passionate prayer?

just listened to an excellent sermon...

check it out here if you're interested...  it's my friend tara :)

this morning i woke up to mazerick coming to my bedside and saying, "mom, i can't breath."

i have been praying fervently for him ever since.  it was about 6 am when he told me.  i went and got him some medicine, prayed for him, and he went back to sleep after that.  it's 8:18 and he's still sleeping.  that's awesome.  i will not stop praying though.  i am praying for him like crazy.

these are the verses that are urging me to continue doing so.

acts 4:30, 31... stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.  after they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.  and they were all filled with the Holy Spiirit and spoke the word boldly.  (that's where i want to be....  Lord, i believe, help my unbelief)

luke 22:44  and being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.  (this is what i'm doing....  praying earnestly)

isaiah 62:1  for zions sake i will not keep silent, for jeruselems sake i will not remain silent, till her vindication shines like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.  (right now...  i will not remain silet for mazericks healing, until it happens)

i believe this is not just a call for a few of us.  i believe this is a call for every believer.  take some time right now and think about it.  what will God put on your heart?  what is it that you will not keep silent for?
